Falls du nicht Phillis bist: Weiterlesen und die Nachricht großzügig verbreiten an alle Grünen (die nicht Phillis sind).
Phillis hat dieses Jahr 10-jähriges Jubiläum als Darstellerin des Avatars des grünen Drachen. Und wir wissen ja alle, wie sehr sie sich reinhängt und wieviel sie für uns und unser Lager tut. Und vermutlich wissen wir Einiges, was sie tut, auch nicht.
Soll heissen: Ich und einige andere denken, dass wir ihr mal zeigen sollten, wie dankbar wir dafür sind. Und dafür brauchen wir eure Unterstützung und wünschen wir uns, dass möglichst viele Grüne mitmachen.
Die Idee von Yakk/Frydo, Tamiris/Katharina und mir (Virun/Judith) ist Folgende: Wir wollen ihr eine Patchworkdecke schenken, die sie sowohl IT, wie auch OT zuhause nutzen kann.
Und jetzt kommt ihr ins Spiel:
Wir wollen von euch (Einzelpersonen, Gruppen, Rudeln, Institutionen... ) gestaltete Stoffstücke, aus denen ich dann die Decke zusammenstelle.
Fakten:
jedes Stück MUSS 12 x 12 cm groß sein. Davon sind 10 x 10 cm gestaltet, der Rest ist eine 1cm Nahtzugabe rundrum.
der Stoff sollte möglichst akkurat im Format und wenig dehnbar sein (Leinen, Baumwolle...)
die Gestaltung darf sein, wie ihr wollt, bemalt, bestickt, bepatchworkt - aber es sollte zu einer kuschligen Decke beitragen
die Gestaltung darf sein, was ihr wollt, euer Gruppensymbol, etwas, was für euch "grün" ist, eure IT-Namen…
Wie es umsetzbar wird:
es wäre prima, wenn ihr mir bis Ende Juni eure Stoffstücke schickt - denn ich muss ja noch alles zusammennähen und die ganze Decke füttern. Das ist auf dem DF selbst vor Ort nicht mehr machbar
wenn ihr es nicht bis Ende Juni schafft (also Juli... wie gesagt ausreichend VOR dem DF-Packwahn) dann sagt mir bitte Bescheid, damit ich den Platz einplanen kann
Übergabe werde ich dann bei der Lageransprache machen, also seid alle da, wir wollen Phillis richtig hochleben lassen!

This year marks Phillis' 10 year anniverssary as
incarnation of the Green Dragon. We all kniw how much she puts into camp with
heart and soul. And we propably don't know about everything she does.
This having said: A few others and myself believe it
is time to show her how grateful we are. We need your support for this and hope
that as many green as possiple participate.
It was an idea by Yakk/Frydo, Tamiris/Katharina and me
(Virun/Judith).
We want to create a quilt that she can use IT and OT
at home.
This is where you come in:
We would like you (individuals, groups, the Rudel and
institutions..) to create a piece of fabric.
I will create a quilt from these
Facts:
It is absolutely necessary that every single piece is
12 x 12 cm.
That equals 10 x 10 cms that are designed by you
And a 1cm seam allowance at the rims.
The fabric should be accuratly cut and from non
stretching material. (Linen, cotton...)
You are completly free in terms of design. Embroidery,
painting, quilting.
But it should work for a nice cosy blanket
It can be anything you want. Your group symbol,
something that represents "green" for you, your IT name.
Only limit: Absolutely NO SPIDERS
How to help:
I need those fabrics until the end of June since I
need to sew and line everything and that is simply not possible at the DF.
If for some reason you aren't able to send it to me
until the end of june or earliest july (i need enough time before packing for
DF) but want to participate. Tell me and I will try to keep some space for your
piece.
I will gift Phillis during the speech where we are
going IT so please be there to celebrate her.
